Groupon Email

Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping is an online shopping site that allows members to earn points on every dollar of their purchases at over 850 retailers. Groupon promoted a targeted bonus offer email for new Rapid Rewards Shopping members. This email featured a bonus as well as an additional Groupon offer as part of the promotion. The challenge was to showcase something intangible in a tangible way for the reader to feel special with this one-time exclusive offer. I took a personal approach, by giving the familiarity of texting with a friend to hang out resulting in the reader’s engagement to see what happens next in the animated text chain.
